The Port of Dover is one of Europe's largest passenger ports and serves millions of passengers and vehicles every year on cross channel ferries. Known as the 'Gatway to Europe' Dover ferry port offers state of the art facilities, excellent transport links and superb customer service.
On average Dover Ferries operate every 30 minutes. For centuries the gateway to England, Dover and it's surrounding area makes a great day out. Full of history and splendour, including it's magnificent castle and medieval town centre buildings, as well as the famous White Cliffs. |

From
the M2, follow the A2 direct into Dover, or from the M20, follow
the A20 again into Dover. Then Follow the signs to Dover Ferry Port ( Eastern Docks Ferry
Terminals) which are clearly signed. |
Directions by Train |
Dover Priory Railway Station is located in Station Approach just off Folkestone Road.Train links are available from both Victoria & Charing Cross mainline London stations. There is a regular shuttle bus service to Dover Ferry Port ( Eastern Docks Ferry Terminal ), which operates every 20 minutes ( 7 am to 10.30pm ). There is a small charge for this service. |

Terminal Facilities |
Dover Ferry Port has two Passenger Service Buildings ( East & West ). Passenger Service Building West offers a wide range of facilities including Burger King, Cafe Ritazza, Travelex Currency Exchange, ATM, Massage Chairs, Vending Machines, Boardwalk shops selling snacks, drinks, confectionery, newspapers, books, maps and useful travel essentials, as well as toilets, disabled toilets, showers & baby changing facilities. On the first floor there is also a viewing platform where you can watch the ferries entering and leaving the harbour. Passenger Service Building East offers facilities that include Burger King, Barnacles Bar, Travelex Currency Exchange, ATM, Massage Chairs, Vending Machines, Payphones with internet access & a convenience store selling snacks, drinks, confectionery, newspapers, books, maps and useful travel essentials, as well as toilets, disabled toilets, showers & baby changing facilities. |
Car Parking |
Dover Ferry Port's main multi-storey car park is at the entrance to the terminal & offers both short & long term parking to all passengers. Tickets are issued from the machines as you enter, and when you return you pay your fee at the pay machines in the Arrival's Hall. Current charges are £3.00 for 2 hours upto £13.50 for upto 24 hours & then £7.00 per day on top thereafter. Please note that prices are subject to change without prior notice. The Passenger Service Buildings at Dover Ferry Port offer low level activated doors, lifts, unisex disabled toilets, a loop system for the hard of hearing, as well as dedicated disabled parking bays on the first 2 floors of the multi-storey car park.
