The Port of Heysham is a major Passenger & Freight Ferry Port located on the southern edge of Morecambe Bay, offering sailings to Ireland & the Isle of Man. Passenger services operate from the South Quay, whilst Freight Services operate from both the South & East Quays.
The town of Heysham is an interesting old fishing port which also acts as a gateway to the nearby seaside favourite Morecambe and the ancient city of Lancaster which is full of medieval splendour & history, all surrounded by glorious Lancashire countryside.

Directions by Car
Exit M6 J34 & follow A589 to Morecambe & Heysham for 3.5 miles. At 2nd roundabout take A683 to Heysham which is 3.5 miles away. Follow signs for Heysham Ferry Port which is at the west end of Heysham village.

Heysham Port Railway Station in Station Road is located near to the Ferry Terminal.

Terminal Facilities

The Ferry Passenger Terminal offers a Cafe providing hot & cold drinks as well as light snacks & is open during Terminal Opening hours. There is also a range of vending machines for hot & cold refreshments & snacks.
Car Parking

There is limited car parking spaces adjacent to the Terminal Building.
The current cost is £7.90 per 24 hours.
All vehicles are parked at their owner's own risk.
Heysham Ferry Port is owned and operated by Mersey Docks and Harbour Company.
