The busy freight & Ferry Port of Troon is situated in
South Ayrshire on the West coast of Scotland on the Firth
of Clyde. Operated by ABP Ports, Troon has excellent road connections to the motorway network & is close to Glasgow Prestwick Airport & only 8 miles north of Ayr.
The bustling town of Troon is also a popular fishing port &
it's marina is a leading sailing centre.
Troon is also famous
for it's world class golf course, Royal Troon as well as it's lovely surrounding area is a tourist magnet.

From the South follow the A77 from Ayr & Stranraer then follow the signs to the Ferry Port at Troon..

Troon Railway Station is located in St. Meddars Road & is approx 1 mile from the ferry terminal
( or a 25 minute walk ).
There are services to Glasgow Central & Ayr which offer connections to all over the UK.
Taxis are available at most times on the station rank.
