The small but modern ferry port is controlled by the local council, and offers services to the Channel Islands and on to France.

Weymouth is one of the UK's favourite seaside resorts. It's wonderful Georgian buildings are complemented by great beaches and numerous family attractions, as well as nearby Chesil Beach and the world famous Dorset Jurassic coastline.

Directions by Car
Weymouth is 8 miles south of Dorchester on the A354. Follow the signs to Ferries/Ferry Port, which is on the left.

Weymouth can also be approached from the A35 at Poole by following the A351, then the A352, & then finally the A353 into the Town Centre.
Directions by Train

Weymouth Railway Station is located approx 1000 metres north of the harbour in King Street and is a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Taxis are available at most times on the station rank.

Directions by Coach / Bus
The nearest bus and coach terminus is located by the Kings Statue on the Esplanade, which is approx 500 metres north of the harbour, and less than a five minute walk to the ferry terminal.

Terminal Facilities
The Ferry Terminal is between Custom House and the Pleasure Pier. It has limited facilities but does have a small store offering snacks, newspapers and magazines.
Car Parking
There is both short and long term car parking available by the Ferry Terminal. No booking is required, but you are advised to arrive early to guarantee a space.

Nearest Petrol Station

There is a Morrisons Supermarket and Petrol Station on the Manor Roundabout on Dorchester Road which is approx 1.5 miles to the north of the Ferry Terminal. Phone 01305 761787 Open Mon-Sat 7am to 10pm ( 9pm Sat ) Sun 8am to 8pm
